Snap is pleased to open its doors to offer courses in screenprinting and bookbinding! Screenprinting workshops are 6 hours in length and provide participants with an introduction to screenprinting and an opportunity to come away with something they have created here on the premises. We are running these workshops in two formats: 1 day (six hours) and 2 day (3 hours per day).

Screenprinting workshops cost £60 (£20 deposit, £40 balance on the day) and are inclusive of all materials (unless otherwise noted*). Student rate is £45 (please bring NUS card when signing up) Expect tea and coffee! Workshop vouchers are available to purchase from Snap. Alternatively, contact us to arrange a workshop date and check availability.

PRINT YOUR OWN CHRISTMAS CARDS AND LEARN TO SCREENPRINT AT THE SAME TIME!

Yes folks, it's time to think about doing your christmas cards already - why not make it more fun this year?

On this workshop you will design and print an edition of two colour cards using screen print techniques. The designs can be made using drawings or photographs.

Come with an idea or two - a photo of a family pet, maybe a child's drawing, or yours.

Cards, envelopes and all inks and other materials are included in the price, as is a glass of sherry and a mince pie for each participant. Yummy.

Each participant receives 20 blank cards to print on with envelopes, and more can be purchased on the day.

The card blanks come pre-folded and are 12cm x 12cm, are good quality, and both cards and envelopes are 100% recycled.

There is no lower age limit, although children will need to be accompanied by an adult. Obviously the parent gets the sherry, but the kid gets the pie.

Terms and Conditions

• £20 deposit is non-refundable and required at the time of booking, so please be sure you can make the date before signing up. If you have booked in but need to reschedule for whatever reason please note that this is at the discretion of the Snap member giving the workshop.
• We reserve the right to cancel a workshop, but will give you as much prior notice as possible. In this case we will either reschedule with you or refund your deposit.
• Please note: Introductory workshops are, well, introductory. Our aim is to teach you the basics of screenprinting and give you the opportunity to have a go at printing something for yourself. If you already have experience screenprinting and just want to use the facilities these workshops are probably not for you. We are hoping to offer more advanced workshops, or even open access time in the near future. Stay tuned!

* We will supply you with good quality paper for printing, but should you wish to bring your own paper in order to suit a particular need, please do.
