Snap Studio is an exciting new venture, set up by 8 Bristol based artists and designers. We offer unique facilities and space, in the company of practising artists, right in the centre of Bristol.

In our gallery you will find a diverse mixture of printed works, from screenprints, relief prints, artists’ books, textiles and greetings cards, much of it produced on the premises. We also offer short courses in screenprinting to novices, artists, families and the just plain interested.

In time we hope to open out our facilities and exhibition space to other artists, as well as to full members by offering associate memberships.

The 8 Snap artists are: Abi Barfield, Katy Chard, Freya Cumming, Derek Edwards, Jon McNaught, Emma Peacock, Tortie Rye, Lucie Sheridan and Simon Tozer

12.5.09 Animal Snap Exhibition

Snap is giving its walls over to images of animals for the latest show. The Snap artists have been stalking, snorkelling, twitching, and generally going outside to seek out and observe animals of all kinds in order to draw and turn into lovely pictures. Along with the native wildlife expect some unusual creatures such as unicorns, yetis, and perhaps even a rare sighting of the Loch Ness Monster.

Along with limited edition prints, the gallery stocks a host of handmade items such as artists books, stationary, notelets, bags, and handmade cards.

Show runs from Saturday 30th May and continues into the Summer

Opening Times Tues to Sat, 10am to 6pm.

Looking for a new studio space and outlet for your screen printed work?
SNAP has a fantastic opportunity for one new member.
Snap is a co-operative, and members are expected to contribute towards the running and promotion of the shop, studio, and print workshop. The rent is £115 per month including bills, and the tenancy commences 1st May 09.

Please apply by email attaching a couple of images and some information about yourself, why you want to be a Snap member, and include any skills or experience you have that you feel might be relevant.

29.1.09 Wall of Love

Snap presents Wall of Love, with new vibrant artwork from the Snap members along with many smaller items and objects of desire.

We will be spreading the love on the night of the 12th FEB, with jam tarts, pink wine, a raffle and live sschmoozy music. And if you are still looking for that boy/girl of your dreams, all the more reason to come on down, for in Snap there is all your heart’s desire. Not to mention a 10% off everything sale during Feburary.
